The History

"In 1992, during a summer break from my Master’s degree work in Environmental Studies, I slipped back to my home province of British Columbia and began the love affair of my life. I interned on an organic herb and vegetable farm, nestled in the wild mountains of BC’s interior, and the herb gardens there sparked in me an insatiable yearning to know and embrace the herbal arts in a deep and meaningful way.

There is a wisdom and peace that comes from working with herbs, and a joy and celebration that manifests in those who have found their true vocation. I found my own North Star during that fateful summer, and I have gratefully embraced my life as an herbalist ever since. That experience led to the birth of my company, Pumpkin Moon Organic Herbals, and sixteen years later, look at us now!"
